Hidden Hardware Joystick Mounting Kit - 1/2" Screws For Metal Plates
Mount your joystick from under the control panel with no visible hardware using this kit. Contains 1/2" screws for joysticks with metal mounting plates such as Sanwa and Zippyy. Designed for use with wood at least 1/2" thick. (Threaded inserts are 0.4" long. 1/2" Screws won't go all the way through the wood due to the thickness of the joystick mount and the lock washers)TIP: Drill a 7mm hole then install the inserts using 5mm hex driver/allen wrench.

These worked real well to mount a joystick into melamine. Does not pull out with how deep the threads are. Just be prepared to really lean into it to get the threads started.

Really easy way to mount joystick from bottom without drilling holes all the way through the top.
